The HSC 60 boat is a multi-purpose troop carrier designed with a high-speed, twin-hull configuration. It offers excellent stability, powerful firepower, and a quick-access side-door design, making it ideal for coastal and island operations.
The boat is engineered to transport up to 19 soldiers and a crew of 3 to perform various missions as required.
It can operate in shallow water, and thanks to its wave-piercing bow and twin-hull design, it can maintain high speeds in rough seas with minimal impact from waves on the crew. The hull is constructed from a fiber-reinforced plastic, strengthened with layers of carbon and aramid fibers, and utilizes a non-absorbent Divinycell foam core. The boat is manufactured using the vacuum infusion Sandwich technology, which ensures consistent resin distribution and eliminates air bubbles during curing. This results in a rigid, lightweight, and highly stable hull that is durable and resistant to impact and abrasion. The reinforced bottom of the boat is designed to resist punctures, even when colliding with or sliding over coral.
