Century Co., Ltd has awarded 10 dragon boat to the 126 Naval Special Forces Brigades (the donation is divided into 2 batches, 5 pieces each).
Dragon boat is made in composite material; it has diamond shape, with the length of 11 meters, the width of 1.5 meters, fit for 24 athletes, is decorated with dragon head on the top of the boat and with eye-catching colors.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tho, Director of Century Limited Company, said that to response to “For the sea, the home island” movement, the company has awarded the dragon boats the 126 Naval Brigades so that the officers and soldiers could practice improving health and organize racing festival. Our company has come to Cat Ba town, Cat Hai District, Hai Phong city to rent a dragon boat from the residents bringing back to Ben Kien, Thuy Nguyen District to be sampled for our company producting purpose.
Until today, the 126 Naval Brigades has organized over 10 dragon boat races on Gia river in Thuy Nguyen District, Hai Phong city (the area where the unit is stationed).
